Im Lehrerhaus

After months of anticipation, I am finally in Salzburg and back in the hills that I love!!

For future reference, be aware that I am travelling with 3 friends from school: Benedetta (Bene), Erick, and Ben.

Today was a long travel day. The flight went smoothly and  we landed on time in eight hours. Then we sat at the wrong meeting point for four hours anxiously looking for the "Salzburg College" sign. Luckily, the boys ran into Dr. Astrup at McDonald's and she told us where to go. Once we found the group, we met several people and then loaded the bus. It seemed that the bus driver has some direction issues because the 2 and 1/2 hour trip took over 3 hours. But after not getting any sleep on the plane, I could not complain about the extra nap time.

The dorms here are very nice. I am rooming with Bene and so far we've met some very nice people who are also in the same program and living in the dorms. We have windows that open up to a gorgeous view of the Alps! ...and did I mention we have our own bathroom? WE HAVE OUR OWN BATHROOM.

I am very excited to go to sleep tonight! Tomorrow we have orientation and a walking tour of Salzburg. Also, the way to get to the college is over a mountain and through a tunnel to Salzburg College we go!

Time for some leg toning!!!
